Here’s a project that we’re recently completed… it’s a 1960 Chevrolet C10 Pickup truck. And there are only two words that come to mind when we first laid eyes on this beast: “BAD ASS”.
We used a Buick Roadmaster as a donor car and pulled the 350 V8 Chevy engine, transmission and rear end out of it. Once we started into the rear suspension we quickly realized that the entire rear frame had to be replaced. The new front sub-frame has a new Mustang II suspension and the rear end is now suspended by new coil-over springs and a four link setup. We added a TPI fuel injection system to the motor and cleaned it up a bit. There is a complete wiring harness being installed into the truck as well. We also fabricated a new transmission cross member and a complete custom exhaust system. And new brakes all around complete the updates.
Now the truck has a great stance and is far more drive-able and reliable than when it first came in to the shop!
