Here’s a really interesting project we have been working on at Wicked Garage since we opened the shop back in November of 2011. It’s a 1958 Austin Healey that has a 327 small block Chevy V8 and a 4 speed Muncie.

We also have more photos in the preceding first album.

We have sorted out the suspension front and rear as well as all new electrical, brake and fuel lines. The engine is getting freshened up with new Edelbrock aluminum heads and new gaskets and paint. A narrowed 9 inch ford rear end with 4-link setup is going in as well as a Mustang II front suspension with adjustable QA-1 coil-overs at all four corners. A new Richmond 5-speed transmission is also going in. We have altered the sheet metal with flared fenders and new vents in the front fenders. We’re also shaving the door handles. Other custom touches include a hand formed aluminum dash, custom exhaust headers and tips.

What started off as a small project has grown into a complete resto-mod of this classic Healey. Nothing on this car is stock and untouched. It should be one of the Wickedest Healeys ever built!
